Morning Prayer Team

For a couple years, several members of the parish, in collaboration with Trinity and other Episcopal Churches in the area, have been sharing the service of Morning Prayer with residents of local nursing homes. After sensing the call and attending training classes, folks can join the Morning Prayer Team after becoming licensed by the Diocese of Virginia and vetted by the nursing homes to offer a simple service of prayers and hymns to residents of every denomination. Of course, the Episcopal residents are the most delighted to attend, but all are welcome. For more information about this ministry and their schedule of visits, contact Michael Golas.
