About Aquia Episcopal Church
Aquia Church is a historic church built in 1757 whose congregation live in the Stafford and Fredericksburg, VA area. We believe we are part of God's creation, made in his image to bear witness to Christ and spread the good news by proclaiming the Gospel to our community. Together we work to grow spirituality through the sacraments and fellowship with each other, by giving ourselves to the service of others.
We welcome all who wish to foster a closer relationship with God and find community in Stafford County.
Our Mission
We joyfully respond to the Love, Grace, and Fellowship of God, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. At work in our midst, we celebrate His Presence by Sharing His Abundance and Proclaiming His word throughout the world.
The Episcopal Church
The Episcopal Church is a community of 2.2 million members in 110 dioceses in the Americas and abroad. Anglicanism stands squarely in the Reformed tradition, yet considers itself just as directly descended from the Early Church as the Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox churches.
